Zoe is a brand new teenager, in fact she just celebrated her 13th birthday at Disneyland this past July.  And I can't help but think that our days spent at Disneyland somewhat inspired this shoot.  Before she got too grown up, I really wanted some fairly-tale, princess inspired pictures of our not-so little Zoe!  So we packed up some princess essentials, our little dog Coco and headed out to a really cool old ghost town not too far from home.  I couldn't have asked for better lighting, the cloud cover was perfect and we had the entire place to ourself.  As I snapped I was so excited because I knew these pictures would be everything I envisioned them to be and as I edited them over the next few days the tears came...our little girl was becoming a beautiful young woman and I'm so thankful I didn't wait one more day to capture this time.  I know it won't be too long and she won't be so willing to dress up and pose for me and sooner than that she really will be all grown-up.

A Lopez Hawaiian ohana vacation means everyone comes and how fun is all that?!  Grandma and Grandpa and all their babies and all the Grands, it was pretty special to see all 3 generations come together - the bonds that bind them were so obvious and even though there are many, they all are very, very close.  What a neat momento of time together!

One of our favorite realtors here in Hawaii bought the nicest house warming gift for her niece when she purchased her first home: a photo session for her sweet family!  We spent a beautiful morning with these three on the north shore of Oahu at Haleiwa beach park.  They had so much excitement with the new house and their sweet babe turning 1, it was time to relax and get some beautiful images for their new walls!  Such a gorgeous trio!

We love family sessions, we really do!  But, every once in awhile it's a nice change of pace to photograph a sweet couple.  Just the two of them on a beautiful Hawaiian beach. <3

When we met up with Scott and Laura at Nimitz beach the sun was blazing hot, there were people all over the place and the wind was some what out of control. Not the perfect setting for a romantic couples session but, it gave us some time to get to know these two and once the sun calmed down we had a beautiful sunset!  The couple and the lighting was definitely worth the wait :)

This little angel seriously stole our hearts!  Isn't she a doll?!  She and her sweet parents visited the Disney Aulani resort in Ko Olina and we got to hang out with them one evening.  Such a fun family and session, we enjoyed every minute of our time with them!  Mahalo Hirpara ohana!  We hope to see you all again!
